When your goods are ready to travel, the next question is how they will be collected, loaded and received. DZ Cargo plans transportation around the load and the addresses involved. Tell us what you are sending, how it is packed and when it needs to be collected.
List the number of packages and their approximate dimensions and weight where known. Identify furniture, equipment, fragile items and anything that needs unusual handling. Photographs can help explain a load that is difficult to describe.
Explain whether the shipment is household goods, office assets or other cargo. Do not assume one arrangement is suitable for every item; discuss acceptance and handling before booking.
Share the type, quantity, approximate size and weight of the goods, along with the pickup and destination.
Review vehicle access, handling requirements and the proposed quotation. Confirm which packing and loading services are included.
Agree the collection arrangements and provide a contact person at both ends.
The goods travel according to the agreed plan. Stay in contact with the team about your shipment.
Arrange destination access and check the delivered goods against the agreed item details.
Confirm the services, responsibilities and proposed arrangements in your quotation before booking.
Discuss Your RequirementsA vehicle needs a practical place to stop and a clear route for the goods. Share loading-bay access, stairs, lift availability and any restrictions on entry. Nominate someone who can oversee collection and delivery.
If the goods are already packed, tell us who prepared them and flag items that need further protection. Confirm whether loading and unloading are included or arranged separately.
The quotation should identify the load, route, collection arrangements and delivery support. Ask how scheduling changes, extra handling or an amended inventory will be dealt with.
Transport is one part of a move. For preparation support see packing and moving; for cars and bikes use the dedicated vehicle transport service.
Keep the inventory and transport contact details accessible. Confirm who will receive the shipment and provide any updated access instructions before arrival.
Check the delivered packages against the record and note concerns at handover. Arrange enough space for unloading so items do not have to be moved repeatedly.
DZ Cargo brings 11+ years of moving experience and IBA-approved services to the planning of your relocation. Our trained team helps organise the work around your belongings, access conditions and destination. Review the service details and quotation with us before booking.
Discuss the load and its existing packaging with the team. Transport-only scope can be considered, with handling requirements and responsibilities agreed before collection.
Provide the goods list, approximate size or weight, both addresses, access details and preferred collection date.
Check your quotation. Each task should be included explicitly or assigned to the party arranging it.
Describe unusual, regulated or potentially hazardous goods before booking. Acceptance and suitable arrangements must be checked for the shipment.
Share your pickup, destination and preferred date, along with the items or services involved. We will help you work through the next steps and prepare a quotation for your requirements.
